Patrick Hawkins is a Licensed Addictions Counselor with over 25 years of experience. During his career, he has worked with over 5,000 young men in primary treatment. Since 1995, he has been dedicated to working with adolescents and young adults. With a national reputation, Patrick has presented at multiple conferences and is considered a leader in treating young men, especially in an outdoor/experiential type setting. He has led 50+ expeditions accumulating over 1,100 days in the backcountry guiding hundreds of clients on their journeys through the wilderness and into recovery. Patrick brings all this experience to the young men in treatment daily while also imparting it to the entire team.

Nicole Hutcherson is the Clinical Director of Triple Divide Lodge. Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Nationally-Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, a Nationally-Certified Parent Coach in the Marty Beyer Model, and a Montana-State-approved Clinical Supervisor.
Nicole received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2008. Nicole has extensive training and experience with high-acuity clients and families, and she has worked in many specialized clinical areas throughout her career. These specialties include complex trauma, chemical dependency, grief and loss, comorbid disorders and dual diagnosis adolescents, attachment injury, and family therapy.
Nicole primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral, and Systemic therapeutic modalities in approaching treatment with clients. This foundation is extrapolated with an overall multidimensional approach, which pulls from many useful and evidence-based practices, in order to meet each client where they are. Nicole’s therapeutic approach is both strength-based and attachment-focused, with significant attention to the unprocessed traumas and unmet needs lurking beneath problematic behaviors. Nicole aims to walk with clients on a journey toward self-discovery and empowerment by shifting perspectives, enhancing self-esteem, and encouraging healthy choices.
In her free time, Nicole loves spending time with her 5 children. Nicole also loves nature, and fishing is her favorite pastime. Other hobbies include camping, hiking, kayaking, reading, and cooking.
Chase has been working with individuals seeking recovery and personal growth for over 15 years. His passion was created out of his own journey in recovery beginning in 2005. Since then, he has worked within several organizations including recovery residences, an intensive outpatient program as a counselor, an adolescent and young adult substance use disorder center, and a dual diagnosis treatment program. In addition to working with substance use disorders, Chase also worked for a number of years at Onsite Workshops assisting individuals, couples, and families, both nationally and internationally, seeking recovery from trauma and codependency. In his position as Business Development and Admissions Director, Chase brings passion, experience, and authenticity to everyone he works with.
In his personal time, Chase enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Hayley and their daughter Adaline.
Glenn Brown has grown up working and playing in the outdoors of western Montana since 1978. He is a US Air Force veteran, husband, and father of three. Glenn spends his “free” time adventuring, either solo or with his family, in the surrounding mountains and rivers. He is passionate about backpacking, rafting, fly fishing, mountain biking, trail running, all forms of skiing and helping people. Since 2006, Glenn has spent over 880 nights in the wilderness, working with young men who were struggling with addiction. He spent 15 years working as a field guide and lead instructor at a wilderness treatment program. In addition to his experience, Glenn is also a Wilderness First Responder and has a Level 1 avalanche certification.
Paul Kenney has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Associate’s of Arts degree in Addiction Studies. Paul has been a Licensed Addiction Counselor since 2019 and previously was a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC III) in California since 2016. Paul has worked in residential addiction programs for most of his career. It has been Paul’s goal to continue to learn and grow as a professional in the addiction field. In his free time, Paul enjoys movies, swimming, and outdoor activities.
Rhonda Hawkins has over 20 years of experience working with at-risk youth and families through various roles in residential facilities, community programs, legal settings, and education. Her two Bachelor’s degrees in Human Services and Education have equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves. Throughout her career, she gained skills in managing operations within different programs, educational, and office settings. In her free time, Rhonda enjoys spending time with family and friends, and her hobbies include hiking, skiing, camping, and learning new things.
Angel Berry has enjoyed working in the dietary field for quite a while and worked at a residential treatment center for three years in varying roles. She had decided to combine her dietary skills with her desire to help others on their road to recovery, so that they may live their lives to the fullest. Angel enjoys reading, visiting museums, and hiking.
Peter Loyda has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Peter has worked in the field of education for over 15 years as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, superintendent, and athletic director. Peter has a strong background in sports as a high-end athlete and Coach. Peter also works with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Department and Posse Program. It has been Peter’s goal to serve students, families, and community members. He is committed to fostering a quality learning environment, building positive relationships, earning a solid reputation and rapport, and being a positive role model for others to look up to and network with. In his free time, Peter serves on the Marion Fire Department Board, and the Sheriff Posse Board, and enjoys exercise, hiking, and staying active with quality friends and family.
Isaac is an Army veteran with two tours in Afghanistan. As an NCO he has trained many young men to be part of something greater than themselves. Isaac was wounded in Afghanistan which would end his military career. Refusing to be a burden on society he would go on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Gonzaga University and reenter the workforce. At Triple Divide, his goal is to help clients see a positive future after the hardships they have faced.
On his days off, you would likely find Isaac working on his homestead getting ready for Montana’s long, beautiful winters.
Jamie has honed his outdoor skills as a camera operator for outdoor adventure TV shows everywhere from Alaska to Argentina. He has worked in residential programs for five years. At Triple Divide Lodge, Jamie is able to combine his experience in a new way. Jamie is results-driven and contributes to multiple local programs to help improve positive outcomes in the community.
In his free time, Jamie enjoys exploring camera technology, mountain biking, and paddleboarding.
Charles Strauss is an Eagle Scout with an Associate’s degree in Emergency Medicine. A former EMT Charles has spent the last seven years as a shift supervisor for six different gas stations with three different companies. Dedicated to hard work and helping others, Charles has moved to Montana from California to seek out better opportunities to hone his skills and help others do the same. An avid outdoorsman he enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping. On his off time, Charles enjoys collecting military gear, antique Zippo lighters, and coins.
Living most of her life in Alaska, Shirley and her husband moved to Montana 7 years ago. Shirley graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. Her long-standing history of working with young adults and adolescents includes acute care, residential programs, therapeutic boarding school, therapeutic pre-school, private practice, juvenile services, and academic teaching and counseling. Shirley is professionally licensed as Marriage and Family Therapist, and recently retired as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. Montana, parallel to Alaska, continues to support her family’s love for the outdoors. Shirley enjoys a wide variety of backcountry adventures with her husband and Border Collie side-kick, Koda. Her personal goal is to continue collaborative efforts to support the positive growth and development of young adults.

Rick Delaughder has been working on the property for 17 years, first for the previous treatment program on this location and now Triple Divide Lodge. Rick is a vital member of the team as he ensures that everything from the tractor to the buildings are in working order and running smoothly.
Mattie is a black Labrador Retriever that enjoys greeting everyone who comes to Triple Divide Lodge. Her favorite activities include following Patrick wherever he goes and retrieving tennis balls for anyone she can get to throw them for her. When not chasing balls and getting in the pond, she is an avid waterfowl and upland hunter.
Koda is a Border Collie and is Shirley’s sidekick on all of her adventures and volunteering work. Koda is highly compassionate and enjoys spending time with clients.
